MUSUBI
-Keisho Nihongo-
About Us ⇒ MUSUBI website
MUSUBI is a Heritage Japanese Language Education Group operating as part of the Language School committee under the umbrella of Japan America Society of Iowa (JASI).
Our Mission
1. To create connections through Japanese language learning for children living outside of Japan
2. To function as a platform for the guardians in our group
3. To function as a platform for the supporters of other local grassroots Keishougo* groups like MUSUBI
Based in Iowa, USA, MUSUBI serves as a community where children and parents from both within and outside the state come together to support each other.
*What we call ‘Keishougo’ is different from ‘mother tongue’ or ‘foreign language’ in the language education field. MUSUBI is the group for Keishougo kids and their guardians or supporters.
